HealthAid Vitamin E Cream 75ml
My war against acne lasted about six months, from last Christmas until June. Although finally I managed to control the breakouts and make my skin less irritated, there were so many blemishes and scars left all over my face which really made my cry. In the mid-May when my skin was calmed down a little by the Clinique 3-Step System, I started researching and bought some scar treatment products trying to fade these ugly marks.
One day when I was in a forum, I saw a post recommending a product called Webber First Aids Vitamin E Ointment. The person who wrote the post was so excited to share her experience as it cured all her acne scars. After reading her review, I was excited too. I remembered I got burnt on my arm a few years ago. I used Vitamin E Oil and it made my scar disappeared after a few months. That post just reminded me. I googled the product trying to find a stockist. But unfortunately it’s not available in this country. I was a little depressed but then I thought since Vitamin E is the effective ingredient, maybe some other Vitamin E cream would work the same way. SO i started to google Vitamin E cream and I found HealthAid Vitamin E Cream.
HealthAid Vitamin E Cream is a high potency facial moisturizer from the HealthAid Body Care Vitamin E Range. It is a natural skincare product and is gentle enough for use on sensitive skins. I found it on chemistdirect.co.uk online store. The rating of this product was comparatively high. There was also an exciting review on the product page saying that this product cleared up all her acne scars and evened out her complexion which convinced me even more. So I placed an order and got the cream.
It was a white Vaseline-like cream and much thicker than I thought. I applied the same amount as my day cream and after a few seconds I had a slight burning feeling. Luckily it was not a sign of irritation and it went away in few minutes. I would like to think it was the feeling when the ingredients are penetrating into my skin. It did take a little time to rub in as the cream was so thick. And unlike other facial moisturizers, this cream made me felt like I was wearing a mask. It felt as if all my pores were blocked and my skin was struggling to breathe. I was a little worried about getting new breakouts but still decided to go on for a few more days.
The first week was fine. Some of the marks really became lighter and my skin became brighter. However, in the middle of the second week, I noticed a sign of a new breakout on my forehead and I knew it’s time for me to stop. So from my experience, the HealthAid Vitamin E Cream works on blemishes and scars, but on the other hand, you’re taking the risk of getting new breakouts. It can be a very good product when treating scars on other areas of your body, but I will not recommend it as a facial moisturizer especially when you have acne problem. However, since Vitamin E is an anti-aging antioxidant, I now use this cream sometimes as a neck cream or hand cream.
